Put a real photo on your manager in Football Manager 27. An Edit Photo button next to Actions on the manager profile picks a PNG or JPG from your PC, and the photo replaces the 3D face straight away, on the profile, in the news and on every other screen.

What it does
Your photo, everywhere in FM.

Install BepInEx 6
The plugin runs on BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP (x64). Unzip it into the Football Manager 27 folder and open the game once, so BepInEx finishes its setup. Step-by-step guide with video.

Copy the plugin
Unzip the plugin and copy the FMManagerPhoto folder to BepInEx\plugins inside the game folder.

Open your profile
Start FM27 and open your manager profile (Portal, then Career). Click Edit Photo next to Actions and pick your picture.

FAQ

Which picture works best?
Any PNG or JPG. A head-and-shoulders photo looks best: the plugin keeps the centre of the picture in the square shape of the game's portrait.
Where are the photos saved?
In BepInEx\plugins\FMManagerPhoto\managers, one file per manager, named with the manager ID. You can also copy a picture there yourself as <manager ID>.png.
The button does not appear. What now?
Check that the FMManagerPhoto folder is inside BepInEx\plugins and open the manager profile (Portal, then Career). Everything the plugin does is logged in BepInEx\LogOutput.log, in the lines that start with [FM Manager Photo].
Is there a version for FM26?
No, FM Manager Photo is made for FM27. It was inspired by the ManagerPortrait mod for FM26.
Is it safe? Can I get banned?
Football Manager has no online bans for plugins, and this one only shows a picture in place of the 3D face. Plugins are not supported by Sports Interactive, so remove it before reporting a game bug to them.
How do I uninstall it?
Delete the FMManagerPhoto folder from BepInEx\plugins. The game goes back to the 3D faces.
