What it does

Everything runs on your computer.

Every graphics typeKits, faces, logos (normal, huge, icons and @2x), flags, trophies, match balls, titlebars, backgrounds and stadiums.
Kits on AutoOne folder can mix 3D, GK and 2D kits: each file follows its own rule from its name.
Valid or not, and whyEvery file is marked Valid or Invalid, with the reason and the fix, and the exact line for the config.xml.
Duplicates, side by sideNothing is written until you choose, or let Auto-resolve keep the largest or newest.
Batch renameRename a whole folder, find and replace, prefix, suffix or regex, with a preview and undo.
Built-in XML editorEdit as code or as a list of records, with syntax checks. Regenerate brings it back in line with the folder.

How it works

Open a folder

Pick a graphics folder or drag it onto the window. Include subfolders if you want.

Check the list

Every file shows as valid, invalid or duplicate, with the fix next to it.

Save config.xml

Press Save config.xml (Ctrl+S). Ready for the game.

The result

  • One record per file: from is the file name without the extension, to is where FM uses it.
  • With subfolders, from keeps the path, like 3D/1001_home_3d.
  • Invalid files and unresolved duplicates are left out, so a wrong entry never reaches the game.

FAQ

Good to know.

Will it overwrite my current config.xml?

Only when you press Save. A config.xml not made by our apps is renamed to config.old.xml first.

Does it rename or delete my files?

It never deletes anything. Files are only renamed when you ask, and a batch rename can be undone.

How is it different from Kit Folder Mapper?

The Mapper moves kits into country and club folders. The XML Configurator works on any graphics folder, of any type, and makes sure its config.xml is right.

My kits still don't show up.

How do I uninstall it?

Delete the .exe. Your config.xml files stay where they are.
