PES balls, on the FM27 pitch.

There are hundreds of great match balls made for PES 2020 and 2021. Ball Converter turns each one into a ball for Football Manager 27, saves it straight into the Kit Switcher balls folder and lets you choose which ball each competition plays with.

What it does

Everything runs on your computer.

Folder or .zipDrop the ball folder as it came from PES (Asset\model\ball\ballXXX) or the mod's .zip. One ball, a pack, or several .zip files.
Straight into the gameFinds the Kit Switcher balls folder on its own and saves each ball in its own folder.
See every ballEach ball gets a preview. Click any ball to see it bigger and spin it before you convert.
Competition mapChoose the ball of each competition by name: 7,900+ FM27 competitions, with search, winter ball and the game's own ball.

How it works

Drop the ball

Drag the PES ball folder or its .zip onto the window.

Convert

Each ball goes into the Kit Switcher balls folder, with a preview.

Choose where it plays

In the Competition map tab, pick the competitions and click Use as ball.

The result

  • One folder per ball in Kit Switcher's balls folder, with the .fmball file and a preview.
  • The map.txt in the same folder says which ball each competition uses.
  • Kit Switcher picks the new balls up at the next match, with no restart.

Requirements

  • FM Kit Switcher installed in Football Manager 27 (it puts the ball in the game)
  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • PES 2020 or 2021 balls (the ball folder or its .zip)
  • About 30 MB. No installer, no account, no internet

Good to know.

Do I need FM Kit Switcher?

Yes. Ball Converter only prepares the balls; FM Kit Switcher is the plugin that puts them on the pitch.

Kit Switcher already has balls. Why this app?

Kit Switcher comes with 160+ balls. Ball Converter is for adding the balls you like from PES mods and changing which ball each competition uses.

Which PES balls does it support?

Balls made for PES 2020 and 2021: the ballXXX folder with ball.fpk (or ball.fmdl) and the .ftex textures.

Where are the balls saved?

In BepInEx\plugins\FMKitSwitcher\balls inside the game folder. The app finds it on its own in a Steam install.

Does it change my PES files?

No. It only reads them, and a .zip is read without running anything from it.
