FM27 first. FM26 still here.

Every plugin has one version for FM27 and one for FM26. Desktop apps and the 2026/27 kits work with both. Here's which one to download and where it goes.

Download buttons give you the FM27 version first, with the FM26 version right below. Still on FM26? Use the FM26 button: it is on every plugin page.

Each version updates itself for its own game. Installing the FM27 version never touches your FM26 game, and the other way around.

Folders and kits

Each Football Manager has its own folder in Documents, so FM27 starts with an empty graphics folder and your FM26 kits stay where they are:

Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 27\graphics\Kits

The 2026/27 kit catalogue is the same for both games. With FM27 and FM26 installed, the Kits Hub app lets you choose which one to install kits for and remembers what is installed in each, so they never get mixed up.

Plugins and BepInEx

Plugins run on BepInEx inside the game folder, so each game needs its own copy:

  • install BepInEx 6 in the Football Manager 27 folder, the same way you did for FM26 (guide with video);
  • copy the FM27 version of each plugin into that folder's BepInEx\plugins;
  • leave the FM26 folder as it is: its plugins keep working there.

Questions

Can I use FM26 plugins in FM27?

No. Each plugin has a version for each game. Install the FM27 version in the FM27 folder and keep the FM26 version in the FM26 folder.

Do the kits work in FM27?

Yes. The 2026/27 catalogue is the same for FM27 and FM26; the Kits Hub app installs it in the folder of the game you choose.

Do I have to uninstall FM26?

No. FM27 and FM26 have separate folders and can be installed side by side.

Which version of FM Kits Suite do I get?

Early access started on FM26, and Patreon supporters get the FM27 version first, on the same post.
