Install BepInEx 6
The plugin runs on BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP (x64). Unzip it into the Football Manager 27 folder and open the game once. Step-by-step guide with video.

Copy the plugin
Unzip the download and copy the FMKitSwitcher folder to BepInEx\plugins inside the game folder. The balls and referee kits are already inside it.

Open Team News
Start FM and open the Team News screen of a match. The Kit Switcher button is there: pick, confirm and kick off.

Do I need other plugins?
No. Since 0.2 the Kit Switcher does kits, balls, referee and goalkeeper kits on its own. You only need BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP (x64).
Where do the kits come from?
From your graphics folder: any 3D kit you already have shows up in the picker. The Kits Hub app and the in-game plugin can install 9,250 of them for you.
Can I add my own balls?
Yes. Ball Converter turns PES 2020 and 2021 balls into Kit Switcher balls and lets you pick one per competition.
Can I add extra kits?
Yes. Drop a kit into graphics\Kits\AltD named clubid_1.png and it shows up as Alt 1 for that club, with no restart.
I still play FM26. Is there a version for me?
Yes. The main button downloads the FM27 version; the FM26 version is right below it. Each one updates itself for its own game.
Does it change my save or my files?
No. Your choice applies only to the match you are about to play, and Restore all brings the game's kits back at any time.
